Ingredients needed
Watermelon flesh chopped -2 cups
Lemon juice – 2 tsp
Sugar or honey to taste
Popsicle mould
Method
Remove the rind and chop watermelon into big pieces. Blend watermelon pieces along with sugar and lemon juice in a blender.
Strain it with a juice strainer to remove seeds if any. Press it with a ladle to extract as much juice as possible.
Pour into popsicle molds and close it with the lid/cover given along with the popsicle mold.
Freeze for 6-7 hours or overnight.
Run warm water on the outside of the mold to loosen the pops. Remove it and enjoy!!!
Note – If using wooden ice cream sticks – after filling the popsicle mould, cover it with an aluminium foil and insert the wooden stick. This is done so that the sticks will stay in place and will not float. Alternatively you can insert the stick when the popsicles are partially frozen.
