Refried beans is a traditional staple of Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine. In Tex-Mex cuisine, refried beans are usually prepared with pinto beans, but many other varieties of beans such as black or red beans are used in other parts of Mexico (source-wiki). I learn’t a lot and also tried other cuisines during my tour to United Kingdom. Since then, Mexican, Tex Mex food and Ethiopian food has become my favorite. I browsed a lot of recipes and came up with my way of making refried beans, so it may not be exactly authentic, nevertheless very tasty. It was almost close to what I ate in London. It is easy to make and also very nutritious. You can serve it with tortillas or use it as a sandwich or taco filling to make a filling meal. Today we will learn how to make refried beans at home using pinto beans following this easy recipe with step wise pictures.
