Carrot Salad
Ingredients needed
Carrot grated – 1 1/4 cup
Lemon juice- 1 tbsp or as needed
Salt needed
For the seasoning
Oil -1 tsp
Mustard seeds -1 tsp
Green chilli finely chopped -1
Curry leaves -few
For garnishing
Coriander leaves finely chopped
Method
Wash, peel the skin and grate carrots finely.
Add salt and lemon juice to taste.
Heat a tsp of oil, add mustard seeds,when it splutters, add green chillies and curry leaves.
Saute for a second and add to the grated carrots.
Mix well, garnish with coriander leaves and serve with rice or sambar sadam or curd rice.
