Hi Padhu, Nice recipe and I find lots of info in your blog.
I make similar mor kuzhambu but without carom seeds and sambar powder. I use Jeeragam and redchilli powder instead. I think I will try your recipe. Just like your daughter, I too like Brinjal curry with More kuzhambu. The combination is really fantastic.

I tried this recipe but I feel the sambar powder taste is not in place. I can see it's taste like not mixed well with the gravy… what can we do to remove this
Padhu Sankar
You have to boil the kulambu for few mins to get rid of the raw flavor.

I made this dish this morning and it was fantastic. Thank you! I didn’t have fresh ginger or method seeds so I used ginger powder and methi powder and it still came out wonderfully. The only ingredient I added to your list was a 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder. Truly appreciate you sharing this excellent and simple recipe. Simplicity rules!

Hi Padhu, I am a great fan of your blog for the past ten years. If I try something new and it comes out tasty, my family immediately asks me whether the recipe was from your blog. That famous you are in my household.
Coming to this recipe, I tried this , but the curd got curdled. What might be the mistake?
PadhuSankar
Thank you so much Abirami. Very happy to know that you love my blog. Regarding your doubt – Actually this is a very tasty and delicious dish. Did you add besan flour to the curd as mentioned. While heating it the flame should be low and you must stir it often.
